The Fire Yesterday morning, j . Fire broke out in the turpentine distil lery of Mr. A. H. VanBokkelen yesterday morning, about 7 o'clock, and entailed a loss upon the property of $3,000 or $4,000. There were four stills embraced! in the property alluded to. The fire is said to have been the work of an incendiary. It originated among a lot of rosin barrel head ings on the floor of the still house, and we understand that a lot of spirits turpentine was-take from a barrel ; in a neighboring shed on the same yard to start the fire with. Very "little stock was consumed. The fire department was promptly on band, and did what service was possible under the circumstances. " There had been no fire on the yard since Wednesday last.
